The Virunga Youth Alliance is recognising now as non profit organisation. It’s registered under the Certificat d’enregistrement n° 006/JUST.R.C-DH/DP-NK/2008 from the Ministry of Justice. This allows us to work legally.
The Alliance Certificate of Registration We hope the alliance will contribute on future reconciliation in the area, affected now by conflict for so long.
Ready for a soccer match We apologise to everyone for being absent for a while. The fighting has kept us from doing activities on the ground, but we hope now with the peace agreement that there will be more sports for the children. We’re also very grateful to Ephrem from WildlifeDirect for several and wise advices to the final process of the registration. Thank you everyone for your support so far, and thank you so much to Blackford Associates who are now sponsoring the Virunga Youth Alliance with $150 per month. There is new hope for all of us here.
