Project Description

Unveiling of Prince Hussain Aga Khan’s ‘Fragile Beauty’ Exhibition

In this edition of Wildlife Tracks, we delve into the unveiling of Prince Hussain Aga Khan’s “Fragile Beauty” marine photo exhibition, offering a glimpse into the breathtaking world beneath the waves. Additionally, we explore insightful panel discussions addressing the urgent need for mitigating the triple planetary crisis and the profound impact of Nature Storytelling in fostering conservation efforts. Furthermore, we highlight Dr. Paula Kahumbu’s significant role as a jury member for the Wildlife Photography of the Year. We also spotlight our interns and the efforts of our Education team as they monitor and support small grant initiatives in schools across the country.

We witnessed the unveiling of “Fragile Beauty” photo exhibition by Prince Hussain Aga Khan. Through captivating photographs capturing underwater ecosystems worldwide, Prince Hussain brings to light the delicate balance and extraordinary beauty of marine life. Fragile Beauty is part of his work with Focus on Nature, a non-profit organization that he founded in 2014 to support the conservation and protection of threatened and endangered species and habitats.  Prince Hussain’s work serves as a poignant reminder of the urgent need to preserve and safeguard our oceans for future generations. As Prince Hussain aptly puts it, “Part of my job is to be a voice for the voiceless,” advocating for the protection of creatures and habitats threatened by human actions.”
