The drought in Kenya has reached catastrophic levels and there are no signs of it abating. To support the national effort to raise awareness we partnered with Charlie Hamilton-James, a Nat Geo photographer to tell the stories in pictures. These photographs can be distressing so please click on this link if you want to see what we observed in the Kajiado and Amboseli region. We hope that these pictures will influence conversations at the upcoming Biodiversity conference, as well as the new Kenya government policies and regulations.

WildlifeDirect is supporting communities and wildlife affected by the drought. Please donate now to help us alleviate the suffering to people, livestock and wildlife. We will get the money to our partners on the ground to pay for water and hay to keep people, livestock and wildlife alive through this devastating drought.
