WildlifeDirect, a non-profit organization dedicated to the conservation of Africa's wildlife, is pleased to announce the roll out of its new Nature Positive Kids Outreach Program which is an extension of the National Geographic’s Team Sayari educational entertainment Program. Team Sayari, a collaboration between the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), The Walt Disney Company Africa and Wildlife Direct, saw a 20-part television series being aired across Africa on National Geographic Wild and Disney Channel.

WildlifeDirect yesterday launched Season two of the Wildlife Warriors television series at the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens. The 13 part series will premiere on Kenyan television screens via Citizen TV starting this Sunday 6th February 2022 at 5.30 p.m. EAT. Season two of Wildlife Warriors is featuring more than 20 heroines and heroes.

Historically, most African wildlife films have been produced by Westerners for Western audiences. Paula Kahumbu, a Kenyan wildlife conservationist, is working to change that. Development of this series was funded by the U.S. Government, through USAID, in partnership with U.S. Department of the Interior, Wild Lives Foundation, and National Geographic.
